Inception & Values
The BMCF is a non-profitable registered charity organisation in UK registered under charity commission No. 1150804 (England) and was incepted during the month of October 2012 with a mission/values for to help to those who in need by reason of their age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantages from or living in the south Indian state of Kerala by the active participation and assistance of people from U.K.
To relieve those in need living in Britain with financial hardship due to ill health or for the repatriation of the deceased to home country
To assist non-governmental and governmental agencies in U.K and India with similar objectives & activities.
The Foundation came into existence with CEO as Mr. Santhosh Kumar, Chairman -Mr. Shajan Scaria, Vice-Chairman Mr. K.R Shaijumon, Financial Controller Mr. James Joseph and the following Trustees:
Sabu Chundakattil, K.D Shajimon, Sony Chacko, Francis Antony, Tomichen Kozhuvanal, Shamshad Mohammed, Sam Thiruvathilil & Ajimon Edakkara.
Charity Foundation was formally inaugurated at Trivandrum in Kerala on 20.10.2012 by Rev. Fr. Dr. Davis Chirammel by handing over an amount of £ 9237.00 to Mr. Jomon, w/o Mrs. Ashby John collected through its ‘Ashby Appeal’ fund. Then Prime Minister’s secretary Mr. TKG Nair and ‘British Malayali’ editor Mr. Shajan Scaria were present alongwith many other dignitories during this function at VJT Hall, Trivandrum..
