Jojo Appeal: The appeal issued to support the surviving family of deceased at Bedford, collected around £ 15,000 so far and handed over to the family with advance sum of £ 5,000 for repatriation purposes
Jojo Francis died unexpectedly at Bedford, England on 28th June 2024 leaving his wife and son behind. Joj’s wife Reena arrived in UK just an year ago and did the Jojo and his son as well. They hail from Changansserry, Kerala India and came to UK to have a better life with their child’s education. However, the ill fate haunted them otherwise with the unexpected departure of their family member before settling to UK. The foundation received an application from the family and a detailed verification was conducted wherein trustees decided to go for an appeal. The appeal had a very lukewarm response in the beginning but gathered momentum when the news spread around the nooks and corners of UK. The people started supporting the family generously and have reached over 5 Ks now and expect to boost further with the participation of more community members.
