10 families gets £ 5,00.00 each from ‘Easter/Vishu 2022 Appeal’…
A total fund of £ 4,441.00 has been raised both through kindlink and charity’s banck a/c in response to the above appeal issued to support ten disadvantaged families in Kerala, India. While an amount of £ 2,725.00 received through fundraising platform, an amount of £ 1,035.00 received directly into the bank a/c. An amount of £ 559.00 added from charity’s general fund to make a round figure of total amount of £ 5,000.00. Each beneficiary received the support of £ 500.00, which was distributed in a brief ceremony organised at Marunadan Malayali’s office at Thiruvananthapuram on 16th July 2022.
Mr. Krishnakumar, the politician turned actor was the chief guest and his wife Mrs. Sindhu Krishna was also present. Marunadan Malayali Managing Editor Mr. Shajan Skariah welcomed the guests and Mr. Shaji Thomas, the treasurer of BMCF chaired the meeting. Shaji Lukose, the ex Chairman of the BMCF said vote of thanks and trustee Shinu Claire Mathews was also present and delivered a speech.
The beneficiaries include Philomina Mathew from Chemberi, Kannur, Mercy Devasia, Kozhikode, Jerome Athirampuzha, Kottayam Akhil Nair-Ponkunnam, Sojan Varghese & Stephen Augustine, Idukki, Aditya & Girish from Cherthala, Girish from Aluva and Shobhan from Thiruvanathapuram.
