Charity Foundation’s AGM and ‘Meet & Greet’ at Bath on 23 rd March 2019…
The Annual General Meeting of the British Malayali Charity Foundation for the year 2019 will be held ta the historical city of Bath in England on Saturday 23 rd March 2019 at BEECHEN CLIFF SCHOOL,KIPLING AVE, BATH,.BA2 4RE at 1 PM.
The meeting will discuss and review about the activities and working of the chartiy during the last year and also will be planning about the future course of actions. There will be a meeting of current trustees and other office bearers. The new executive committee and the trustees will be elected during the AGM. Those members who wish to take part in the AGM may please contact by email [email protected] for further information and confirmation of their attendance prior to the meeting. As per the regulations of the charity foundation, anyone who has donated to the appeal twice can be a member and the member hsa the right to attend in the AGM. Those who have already contributed can inform us so that we will be able to send the membership application form. ‘Meet & Greet’ gathering.. The foundation has also arranged a meeting of the all the supporters of chartiy foundation, who has took part in the various fundraising activities such as Skydiving, Three peak & Kerala Floods relief appeal etc. Also, the trust will invite the supportser of the foundation, who have been contributing to the appeals issued by the chartiy from to time. The proposed ‘meet & greet’ program will begin at 3 pm at the same venue of AGM.A committee has been set up for the successful implementation of this including Jagadees Nair, the vice chairman of the trust as the General Convenor
and also hails from Bath, Prasanna Shine, trustee from the hosting town of Bath, Roy Stephen from Swindon, Sam Thiruvathil the Convenor of Advisory Board, trustees and advisory committee members. The trust expect to receive innovatÇ ideas and suggestions from its supporters to widen the charity activities far and wide including the upcoming young generation of the community and also taking into the confidence the local community. The foundation has so far distributed over £600,000.00 through its over 50 various projects/appeals from its inception. Around 300 people in the state of Kerala have directly benefitted and another thousansd through the support to different projects/institutions.
